THE Twig memorial walk was completed by 27 people aged from 9-70 and at least 22 dogs (they wouldnt stand long enough for us to count them and they kept dissapearing in the fog).
We set off from Newtown St Boswells at 10am and climbed the Eildons by 11.30am.
Had a wee swift nip and there was apparently the odd sausage roll available.
The weather resembles wet pea soup and this was not for the faint hearted, usually we meet the Melrose folk, but unfortuantely they were nowhere to be seen ... like Brigadoon.
We hope to do this each year and the more the merrier! I would just like to say a big well done to all that participated and hopefully we can see a bit clearer next year!!
